Our Story: A Journey from New Zealand to Australia
Good Homestay was founded in 2014 by Hiro Miyata with a simple vision: to build a stronger connection between his home country, Japan, and his new home, New Zealand. What started as a small, family-run business has grown into a thriving network, trusted by thousands of students and families.
Furthermore, after a decade of creating life-changing experiences in New Zealand, we received countless requests to expand. These requests came from both students and partner agents.
In response to this growing demand, we proudly extended our network as a trusted Japanese homestay agency to Australia in 2025, with a mission to foster the same warm and successful connections in Sydney and Melbourne.
